Veg Manchurian is the dish that we order when we have goes to dinner in a Chinese restaurant. It is my most favorite Chinese dish from childhood. This is the Gravy veg Manchurian recipe, the dry version of the recipe we will share later. This veg Manchurian gravy version we usually serve with steamed rice or veg fried rice.
The best thing about this Veg Manchurian recipe is that it contain lots of chopped veggies. Also, the sauces or gravy add amazing tangy spice in the recipe. This recipe becomes time-consuming as chopping vegetables and making gravy take much time. For less work, you can make the veg balls a day before and use them the next day.

Basic info:

Servings: 3 - 4
Preparation Time: 40 – 45 min

Ingredients:

Chopped cabbage - 100 grams
Chopped carrots - 100 grams
Chopped cauliflower - 100 grams
Refined flour - 30 grams
Water - 100 milliliters
Corn flour - 30 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoons
Oil - For Frying
Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Ginger – 1+1/2 teaspoons
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 50 grams
Ketchup - 50 milliliters
Red chili sauce - 1 teaspoon
Green chili sauce - 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoons (For sauce)
Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
Corn flour paste - 1 tablespoon
Water - 100 milliliters (For sauce)

PREPARATION:

Add 100 grams chopped cabbage, 100 grams chopped carrots, 100 grams chopped cauliflower, 1 teaspoon salt, 30 grams refined flour, 30 grams corn flour and 50 milliliters of water in a bowl and Mix the mixture well.
Now shape this mixture into little-sized balls.
Heat some oil in a pan and deep fry these veggie balls until turns golden brown.
Put these balls on an absorbent paper.
Now heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a pan.
Add 1+1/2 teaspoons ginger, 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon green chili, 50 grams onions, and stir fry.
Now add 150 milliliters of water, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili sauce, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon green chili sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 50 milliliters of ketchup. Let it boil for some minute.
Add the fried veggie balls, 1 tablespoon corn flour paste and mix it well. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes more until this sauce starts to thicken.
You can garnish it with scallion greens.

Veg Manchurian is now ready. Serve it with fried rice or steamed rice.
